Nghi Son 1 Thermal Power Station

Nghi Son 1 Thermal Power Station is one of the two plants of Nghi Son Power Center, which belongs to the national electricity development plan for the period 2006-2015 approved by the Prime Minister.

The factory was built on an area of ​​350ha in Hai Ha and Hai Thuong communes, Tinh Gia district. This station consists of two units with a total installed capacity of 600 MW, annual electricity production of about 3.6 billion kw / h, with a total investment of nearly VND 22,260 billion, of which 85% is used ODA loans of Japanese Government through Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and 15% of reciprocal capital of EVN.

The Station has been completed and put into commercial operation of the unit in the second quarter of 2014, contributing to ensure safe and economical electricity supply for the North Central region, especially Nghi Son Economic Zone.
