Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel organized an internal assessment of ISO 14001: 2015 and ISO 45001: 2018 systems
Recently, Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Company organized an internal assessment of Environmental Management System (EMS) according to ISO 14001: 2015 and Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OHSMS) according to ISO 45001: 2018.
The team included Mr. Khieu Dinh Toan, EQS Consulting Company as the team leader, in collaboration with the component factories to carry out the first internal audit in 2019 at the Company.
The units participating in this review include: Long Steel Rolling Plant, Thermal Power Plant, Coking Plant, and other departments: Quality Control, Foreign Administration, Human Resources, Technology, Equipment Electrical equipment / mechanical equipment, Environmental safety and ISO Board.
In order to well prepare for the internal audit of ISO 14001: 2015 and ISO 45001: 2018, the units and departments of the company have made a notice to the relevant departments and personnel, planning, program and assign an internal auditor and prepare the necessary forms according to the internal audit process (QT 12).
The internal assessment program has the following specific contents: Action to address opportunity risks: Identify environmental aspects / identify hazards and assess risks and opportunities; Identify significant environmental aspects / identify risk levels and take corrective actions. Objectives and plans for implementation of the Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety objectives. Environmental awareness training and occupational health and safety (if any). Control documents, data records related to Environment and Occupational Health Safety.
In addition, there are actions to plan and control the management of chemicals, signs, labor protection, waste water and waste control, equipment inspection with strict safety requirements ... Preparation and readiness to respond to emergencies; Nonconformity and corrective action on Environment - Occupational health and safety, related records.
After the internal evaluation supported by the consulting company, the units will carry out corrections, improvements as prescribed, and continue to accelerate the implementation so that by 2020, the internal assessment of divisions/ factory in the Complex will be carried out.
